Manuski offers an internship program to the students from Social Work College and gives them exposure to Work on Data & Numbers, Data Collection & Analysis, knowing State Polity & Structures/ Departments, Understanding Acts & Government Notifications, Work with governments & public entitlements, etc.
In Feb 2021 and Mar 2021, Social Work students from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University and Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) respectively enrolled for a one-month Internship Program.
During this program, Manuski discussed with them the Socioeconomic rights of Dalits and Adivasi communities through the Orientation program and conducted sessions on the Understanding Prevention of Atrocity Act (PoA), the importance of Right to Information (RTIs), Understanding Dalit Adivasi Budget, etc. Manuski assigned them various tasks such as data entries and analysis, case studies, assignments on the Status of Dalit Adivasi women including exposure to courts and community programs for understanding the areas of work of Manuski. The Manuski team also interacted with college professors and discussed with them the work plan of interns and also updated the work progress of the students.
Moreover, the Manuski team also assessed students and gave them a Certificate of completion.
