On 7th Jan 2022, Manuski organized a one-day Conference on “Women Leadership and Resource Mobilization”. Women Leaders from Mumbai, Kolhapur, Sangali, and Pune participated in the conference along with a few male activists. Ms. Manjula Pradeep, Campaign Director of DHRDNet, and Founder of NCWL was a special guest for the program and guided participants about the origin human and status of women in society from the ancient period. Moreover, she explained various aspects required for Women’s Leadership Development.
Mrs. Ashwini Kamble, President of Krantijyoti Savitrimai Phule Samta Manch explained in detail the contribution of Women Leaders in the Social Movements and discussed in detail about strategy require for Leadership Development.
Ms. Prachi Salve from Manuski discussed the qualities of a Leader and the process of building a public narrative to increase visibility among the society.
Mr. Bhanu Bauddh, from Manuski, shared about the work of Manuski and also did a Vote of Thanks for the conference. The conference was participatory and a few participants also shared their feedback at the end of the program. Ms. Prachi Salve facilitated the conference.
Total participants were 28, out of which 24 were female.
