Manuski Trust Inaugurated its New Office

The Manuski Trust inaugurated its new office in Yerawada, Pune, on 10th February 2021. Lokamitra, the founder, Vishakha, an outgoing trustee, and the three present trustees, Manjula Pradeep, Maitreyanath and Maitreyaratna, were all present and gave short talks on the occasion.

The Manuski Project was started in 1998 as part of the Jambudvipa Trust, but in 2007 became an independent trust. At first it worked mainly in Maharashtra, but now is dedicated to developing an all-India network of capable and competent social activists, based firmly in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s vision of Prabuddha Bharat.

It is hoped that the new office and the new trustees, along with the staff consisting of Prachi, Sangharsh, and two new members, Lakhindar and Bhanu (both of whom studied at Nagaloka, and later at TISS), will give Manuski a new momentum, and help it to make an even greater contribution to the India Babasaheb dedicated his life to realising.
